Urgent News!

Due to mitigating factors beyond our control it is with deep regret, and true sadness that CHALLENGEPHILIPPINES Race Organizing Committee and CHALLENGEFAMILY announce the cancellation of CHALLENGEPHILIPPINES Subic 2016, scheduled for February 20, 2016.

“Varying factors contributed to this tough but responsible decision,” said David Voth, Chairman CHALLENGEPHILIPPINES Race Organizing Committee.

“It is with great regret that we are canceling CHALLENGEPHILIPPINES 2016. We have exhausted every avenue to keep the CHALLENGEPHILIPPINES Subic race viable.

“Our goal from day one was to deliver an iconic race and provide the triathletes of Philippines a world-class race experience and race day memory they would treasure. To that extent, we feel we have succeeded. We appreciative our great sponsor partners, and all of the triathletes and their families for the support. We wish you all a safe and fun triathlon season,” he added.

Marcus Altmann, CHALLENGEFAMILY CEO Asia-Pacific explained, “It has been an extremely unfortunate set of circumstances for the committee, however we see this as a short term set back and look forward to building future events in the Philippines. I would like to thank Dave and his team for their commitment and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused to athletes.”

A full refund for all registered participants on entry paid will be given and processed immediately.
